BARCELONA, SPAIN – April 17th, 2024 – BWA Yachting is thrilled to announce the sponsorship of Sail Team BCN, the Spanish challenger for the Unicredit Youth & Puig Women’s America’s Cup. This collaboration marks a significant milestone for Sail Team BCN as they prepare to represent Spain in both the female and youth categories of the prestigious America’s Cup.

The strong link between BWA Yachting and the glorious America’s Cup gets tighter as the global superyacht agency had announced back in August 2022 to be the exclusive Superyacht Programme Delivery Programme. As well as managing the centralized berth booking programme, BWA Yachting has also been appointed as the “Preferred Yacht Agents” for the event. This partnership underscores the agency’s dedication to providing unparalleled support to the event, ensuring that every aspect of the America’s Cup experience is seamless and unforgettable for superyacht Owners and guests.

The Unicredit Youth & Puig Women’s America’s Cup, scheduled to take place from September 26 to October 16, 2024, will see Sail Team BCN compete against top international talent in a bid to secure the coveted titles. The team, led by legendary Catalan sailor Guillermo Altadill and experienced international team manager Stewart Hosford, is poised to make waves in the world of competitive sailing.
